My Experience
Although I have had a lot of experience with children and from attending courses and gaining qualifications I would honestly say the best form of experience would come from being a mum. I have two children of my own, my son is 8 and my daughter is approaching 6. I also have a lot of siblings, nieces, nephews etc. I have always had children of all ages & abilities around me. Also I have personal experience with down’s syndrome due to my cousin and a close friends child. I have also gained experience through Childminding of children with ADHA, Autism, and severe eye defects. I have also had children who have suffered from separation anxiety due to leaving their parents for the first time which can be a very daunting thing.
